Join Us – Scout Groups in Chester-le-Street
Would you like a young person to join Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts or Explorer Scouts in Chester-le-Street or its surrounding district?
Sometimes our sections can take young people immediately and sometimes space is limited and may only be available if you register a place on their waiting list some years in advance.
This page intends to give some indication of where spaces are available now, and the meeting times/locations, so that parents/carers can consider opportunities of where their children may get places in a Scout Group.

Does your child have additional needs? Although most additional needs can be supported in all of our Scout Groups, we recognise that there may be some groups that may be better suited to supporting your child due to the size of the section, ratio of leaders to young people, experience/skills of the leadership team, accessibility of the building etc. If you would like to discuss the best options for your child to get the most out of Scouting, please contact dc@chesterlestreetscouts.org.uk with your contact details to arrange a confidential call back discussion.
We are sorry, but we currently have no provision for Squirrel Scouting (4 and 5 year olds) in Chester-le-Street or the wider district.
