The details of individual section events to be agreed by the District Scout Leadership Team

Beavers Adventure Challenge – An adventure day with staggered Colony attendance, to undertake Beaver activities with other Beaver Colonies in the district.

Beavers Campfire evening – An evening of campfire songs and activities, with a hot dog snack.

The District Six Competition – An evening inter-Pack competition where each Pack compiles and enters a Six in a round-robin competition.

Jamboree on the Trail incident hike – A short incident hike activity, coinciding with Jamboree on the Trail, with fun games and challenges along the route around Herrington Country Park

Jambowlree – A district bowling competition.

Patrol Leaders Training Event – A 24 hour overnight training event for potential or new Patrol Leaders.

Expedition Skills Training Weekend – An extended weekend skills development weekend and 24 hour expedition for Scouts.

The Errington Cup – A patrol competition for 4-7 Scouts taking part in Scout Skills, Adventurous Activity and Emergency Aid.

District Incident Hike – Our established incident hike and camp for Scouts at Beamish Museum.

Eurovision Sleepover – It’s time to be yourself and enjoy the diversity of Eurovision with a party and sleepover.

Explorers Expedition Skills Training – A 2 day residential event covering training for DofE expeditions, Geoffrey Gordon Cup and other lightweight expeditions.

District Explorers Summer Camp – A week long annual activity camp for Explorer Scouts.

District Explorers Winter Camp – A weekend indoor and outdoor camp for Explorer Scouts with an all inclusive Christmas Dinner.
