To be able to attend, you need to complete the online learning via your ‘My Learning page’ on the Scout system and book a place on the trainer led session (see below).
The blended learning course consists of the following:
Module 10A – First Response theory
In order to complete this module, you need to:
1. Complete the 2.5-hour e-learning module on your ‘My Learning’ page: you will need to do this before the trainer led session.
2. Complete a 2.5-hour trainer led session. This will validate module 10A on the new digital system and your Mandatory ongoing learning
Module 10B – First Response practical.
This First Response practical will usually be less than an hour covering the practical elements of the course.
If you have completed the e-learning module, please email Karen Gibson, will then check that the learning has been completed and will then send you a link to book onto the trainer led session stated above. You must have confirmation that your place is booked on the course in advance – you can not turn up on the day. Bookings will be closed 2 days before each course date to ensure we have enough trainers and resources for all participants.
