Our Scouts retain the Brian Slack Challenge Shield

On 16th September 2023 five of our Scouts competed in the Chester-le-Street District Incident Hike challenge for Brian Slack Challenge Shield.
Four of the team that won the Shield in 2022 returned to defend their title which they won at Kielder.
This year the challenge took place in Chester-le-Street with teams navigating their way from the Scout Hut in Waldridge Village, through Chester-le-Street and finishing at Burnmoor Scout Hut by camping in the grounds.
The team showed great teamwork throughout the challenge and completed all the activities that were organised at the various checkpoints.
