St George’s Day Parade 2026

On Sunday 26 April 2026, we had a wonderful day at Beamish, taking part in the St George’s Day parade and renewing our promises.
Chester-le-Street District organised for all groups in in the district to come together and attend the parade at Beamish. The event celebrated St George’s Day, which holds special significance as St George is the Patron Saint of Scouting.
It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to unite, renew their scouting promises, and celebrate alongside the other groups in the Chester-le-Street District.
