Chester-le-Street District Scouts

We had another great Group camp in March with our Beavers, Cubs & Scouts – this year with a Wild West theme!  Everyone got involved with Stetsons and Bandanas for all with blow up horses.  It included an appearance from Indian Chief – River Runs Wide.  Activities included tackling a hobby horse obstacle course and testing our aim with soft archery.  I’m not sure who had the most fun running round singing the Long John Silver theme tune our Scouts or our Leaders!?!  Either way a lot of fun was had by all!

We had a great trip to Whitby with everyone enjoying an ice cream while discovering Whitby’s heritage trail. Thankfully, the weather held off with only a light shower being experienced. That night we had our usual camp fire lead by Camp leader and Scout leader with songs we all really enjoy!
