Beavers achieve the highest Scouts Award – Chief Scout’s Bronze Award

The end of our Autumn half terms saw five of our Beavers completed their Chief Scout’s Bronze award after nearly 2 years of hard work. They have all showed great enthusiasm for all the activities they’ve taken part in to achieve this award. This is the highest award a Beaver can earn. To earn it, they needed complete all of the challenge awards, as well as any four activity badges. The Challenge Awards are designed to help them step out of their comfort zone and try new things, while the Activity badges helped them explore their interests and skills in a fun way. By earning the Chief Scout’s Bronze Award they have developed skills in teamwork and leadership, had the chance to try new adventurous activities and all the fun of a night away from home. They all have a few months left at Beaver to share their skills and knowledge to our newer Beavers before moving up to Cubs in early 2024.
