Cubs visit Spennymoor Police Station

On 23-Oct-23 our Cubs attended Spennymoor Police station to find out what they got up to. The children learned about the role of the Police and that their jobs are not just arresting and locking up people they also help in the community and outside areas. We talked about safety and trust. The visit included getting their fingers prints taken, looking inside the cells and getting to sit inside a couple of their vehicles. They all behaved well so were released from the cells and allowed home at the end of the visit.
