AGM Highlight – Beavers achieve the highest Scouts Award of Chief Scout’s Bronze Award

Many thanks to all the parents of our Young People who turned out to our AGM on 4th November 2024. The highlight of our AGM was the presentation of the Chief Scout Bronze Award to 5 of our Beavers. The Awards were presented by Andrew Pine, District Lead Volunteer.
They have all showed great enthusiasm for all the activities they’ve taken part in to achieve this award. This is the highest award a Beaver can earn. To earn it, they needed complete all of the challenge awards, as well as any four activity badges. The Challenge Awards are designed to help them step out of their comfort zone and try new things, while the Activity badges helped them explore their interests and skills in a fun way. By earning the Chief Scout’s Bronze Award they have developed skills in teamwork and leadership, had the chance to try new adventurous activities and all the fun of a night away from home. They all have a few months left at Beavers to share their skills and knowledge to our newer Beavers before moving up to Cubs in 2025.
