First Response is the minimum level of First Aid training for all leaders and basic permit holders in Scouting.

We will be running another First Response blended learning course (6-9.30pm) in the next few months, depending on when we have enough people completing the online learning. The blended learning course consis of the following:

Module 10A – First Response theory

In order to complete this module you need to:

1. Complete the 2.5 hour e-learning module (click here to start it) – you will need to do this before the trainer led session. Please make sure that you record your District as Chester-le-Street at the end.

2. Complete a 2.5 hour trainer led session. This will validate module 10A on Compass and your Mandatory ongoing learning

Module 10B – First Response practical.

This First Response practical will usually be less than an hour covering the practical elements of the course.

If you have completed the e-learning module, you will be invited to the next trainer led session and practical session once the next date has been set.
